The programme to modernise the automated data measurement system for commercial electricity metering at Kubananergo stipulates developing these automated systems at the Company’s substations along borders with neighbouring consumers/subjects of the wholesale electricity market (Expanding the Automated Data Measurement System for Commercial Electricity Metering of the Third Stage of the Exterior Perimeter at Kubanenergo). In 2011 within this programme construction and fitting work was carried out to install missing meters for current and tension transformers.

In view of the development of an automated system for commercial electricity metering in the district distribution networks the following work was carried out in the accounting year:

• 2.3 million rubles was spent on environmental surveys and 1 million rubles on construction and fitting in accordance with the project to introduce an automated data measurement system for commercial electricity metering for consumers connected to the Tulskaya 35/10 kilovolt substation of the Adigeya branch of the electricity network;
• 21 million rubles was spent on environmental survey for the automated system for commercial electricity metering project for Greater Sochi;
• 2.2 million rubles was spent on environmental survey for the project to introduce an automated system for commercial electricity metering in the Kushevsk district distribution network;
• 32.4 million rubles was spent on construction and fitting for the project for an automated system for commercial electricity metering for domestic consumers in the Adler district in Sochi (second stage).

In 2012 the Kubanenergo investment programme in view of the development of automated metering systems plans to carry out construction and fitting work in accordance with the following project:

• the automated system for commercial electricity metering for domestic consumers in the Adler district in Sochi to a value of 30.6 million rubles
• the automated system for commercial electricity metering project for Greater Sochi to a value of 9.4 million rubles
• the automated data measurement system for commercial electricity metering for the wholesale electricity market (Expanding the Automated Data Measurement System for Commercial Electricity Metering of the Third Stage of the Exterior Perimeter at Kubanenergo) to a value of 2 million rubles.
