At the current time Kubanenergo is making progress in developing a modern management infrastructure by automating business process. To organise dispatch, technological communication and transmission of telecommunications a departmental network for communications and telecommunications is used in the Company which is steadily being renovated with a simultaneous move to digital communications channels.

To ensure the reliable work of dispatch, technological communication and transmission of telecommunication back up communications channels are being set up by constructing additional channels, as well as leasing channels from other communications operators (YuTK, Rostelekom, etc).

In 2011 Kubanenergo completed the following works:

• transfer and division of data bases for automated systems of management document flow, information systems for managing projects based on Primavera and the corporate management programme Technological Connection form the MRSK Yug data processing centre in the Kubanenergo data processing centre and organisation of technical support;
• an automated system of accounting for fixed assets to international standards for financial accounting based on the 1C: Business Management of Production Businesses;
• the 1C: Business Management of Production Businesses platform was upgraded to version 8.2;
• a Strategy for information technology, automation and telecommunications, a plan of projects for 2011–2016, and a plan of works for 2012 were developed.

In accordance with the Agreement on technological cooperation in operational dispatch management of EES Russii concluded between Kubanenergo and SO EES, one the main aims for the Company is organising channels for dispatch communications and transmitting telecommunications to the dispatch centre of the SO EES branch of Regional Dispatch Management of the Kuban. In the accounting year the following works were completed:

• teleautomation of the Afipskaya 110 kilovolt power line and channels for digital communications and data transmission to the Krasnodarskie electricity networks branch and Regional Dispatch Management of the Kuban were set up;
• environmental survery works were completed on organising Krasnodar-Dinskaya-Korenovskaya-Tikhoretsk-Korenvskaya-Ust-Labinsk fibre optic channels for digital communications and data transmissio;
• digital communications channels were organised with the branches Adigeiskie, Labinskie, Slavyanskie and Ust-Labinskie electricity networks with organisation of the ‘last mile’ in the towns of Maikop, Labinsk, Slavyansk no Kubani and Ust-Labinsk;
• work was begun on constructing the Krasnodar-Slavyansk no Kubani radio relay communications channel;
• work was begun on renovating the higher level of teleautomisation in the Slavyanski electricity networks branch.

In 2012 Kubanenergo plans to carry out the following actions:

• introduce a corporate-wide system of reference data;
• introduce an information system for certification of electricity network equipment using the 1C Energetika programme;
• introduce a system of consolidated reported based on SAP and Cognos programmes;
• develop an information system for managing projects based on the Primavera programme;
• migration of the automated system of management document flow to the programme Documentum 6.5 and transition to the Federatsiya-2 module, which will make it possible to carry out information exchange between Kubanenergo and MRSK Holding;
• acquire new servers for the executive apparatus and branches of the Company and set them up for use in the single Date Processing Centre at Kubanenergo.
