Environment protection

One of the main directions of activity of OJSC "Kubanenergo" is the environment protection under the production and transmission of power energy.

In 2005 in most subsidiaries of the company the waste discharge was organized and the corresponding permissions were received.

The great work content was done concerning the control of atmospheric emission of waste products and working up the distribution of them. The registration of dangerous waste products was done. In the subsidiaries the laboratory control was held:

• The content of harmful substances in the sewer including catch basins.
• Pollution of the air.
• Influence of physical factors on the environment.

 

A number of measures were directed to the support in proper condition the main production funds of environment protection, setting up of the system of the equipment work after repairs and working up the limits of water consumption and water drain.

The ecological stuff regularly raises the level of its skills. In 2004 20 specialists of the Company studied the additional educational program "Proficiency preparation for the work with dangerous waste products", in 2005 two more specialists did the same.

Starting from the Concept of realization of Ecological policy of OJSC RAU "UES of Russia", accepted in December 2005, OJSC "Kubanenergo" has the following aims:

1. to reduce the formation of the manufacturing waste products;
2. to reduce the collection of the contaminants on the relief of the area and water objects;
3. decrease of the atmospheric emissions.

Main directions of problem solving:

• technological reequipment and deactivating of the old equipment, installing of new technologies for transport and distribution of electric power;
  
• control of harmful influence on the environment;
• regular laboratory control of the condition of environment in enterprisers of OJSC "Kubanenergo";
• analysis of the valid legislation in the sphere of environment protection and working up new documents taking into consideration the ecological demands;
• taking measures for prevention and liquidation of emergency cases, leading to the negative ecological circumstances;
• ecological monitoring, ecological accounts;
• stuff training in the sphere of the environment protection and ecological audit;
• dataware of realization the ecological policy, publishing the results of this activity of the Company in Mass Media;
• new system of ecological management.
